I'm Sarah Patterson. The face behind SPEAK UP!

I'm a former educator for the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board in Ontario, Canada. My passion to advocate for inclusion of the disability community stems from my oldest son's diagnosis of Down syndrome in 2016. I bring personal experience as a disability mother, expertise from my teaching career, and a love of building community to facilitate change and empower others to SPEAK UP and be kind & inclusive to all. ​
