Megan Bateman is the owner and author of Boom The Chickabee! 
She is a disability mom of three who is fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming an author. She writes children's books that focus on kindness and inclusion and travels to local schools and libraries to share her stories and message with kids of all ages.

The "Boom the Chickabee" series is inspired by her own beautiful family and her best friend of over 25 years. The stories are all about celebrating diversity whether it’s kids with glasses, those with physical disabilities (including a awesome kiddo in a wheelchair!), or Boom’ s sister, Indie, who has Autism Spectrum Disorder.​
